Nurses in search of a better framework for thinking, leading, researching, and improving patient care. In 2004, Plexus Institute, with a small grant from the Robert Wood Johnson, created Complexity Science and Nursing Learning Network to provide a community devoted to bringing insights from complexity science into healthcare and nursing.
Our goals to make genuine contributions to the health of patients, nursing education and practice, and the well-being of nurses by:
• Discovering and evaluating new strategies for improving healthcare quality by bringing complexity science principles into nursing practice, leadership and education;
• Raising awareness of complexity science and the promise it offers within the nursing, medical and healthcare communities.
